Research & Legal Disclaimer: This is an independent, non-commercial educational resource. No products are sold, endorsed, or promoted. Content is derived from published peer-reviewed literature for educational purposes only. This does not constitute veterinary medical advice. Most compounds listed are investigational or used off-label and are not FDA-approved for veterinary oncology. Extralabel drug use in animals requires a valid VCPR and veterinary supervision under AMDUCA.

How to Use This Guide

Compounds, protocols, and combinations organized by species and clinical goal, each graded for the strength of supporting evidence.

Species Protocols

Dosing, frequency, and cycling tailored to canine, feline, and equine patients.

Combinations

Multi-compound stacks targeting complementary biological pathways.

Injection Sites

Visual guidance for subcutaneous, intramuscular, topical, and intratumoral routes.

Reconstitution

Step-by-step mixing, concentration math, and storage stability.

Glossary

Plain-language definitions of the key terms used throughout the guide.

References

Every protocol traced back to its peer-reviewed source literature.

Reading the Evidence Grades

Each compound is graded so you can weigh research support before considering any protocol.

Good Evidence

Multiple studies in target species or approved in 2+ countries. Published clinical data with known safety profile. Does not mean "proven." Means evidence base is meaningfully established.

Emerging Evidence

Some published data supports this use, but limited to one species, one study, preclinical models, or extrapolated using allometric scaling. Promising but incomplete.

Preliminary / In Vitro Only

Evidence limited to cell culture, rodent models, or mechanistic reasoning. No companion animal data exists. Highly experimental, included for completeness, not endorsement.

Glossary of Key Terms

The vocabulary you'll encounter across the protocols.

VCPR

Veterinarian-Client-Patient Relationship — legal requirement for a vet to know your animal before prescribing treatment.

AMDUCA

Animal Medicinal Drug Use Clarification Act — federal law allowing vets to use approved drugs off-label under a valid VCPR.

BSA Scaling

Body Surface Area scaling — standard method for converting drug doses between species based on metabolic rate, not just body weight.

Km Factor

Species-specific conversion constant. Dog = 20, Cat = 12, Horse = 36.2. Higher Km = slower relative metabolism per kg.

SQ / SubQ

Subcutaneous — injection under the skin into the fat layer. Most common route for peptide administration in pets.

IM

Intramuscular — injection directly into muscle tissue. Used for some peptides, particularly TB-500 in horses.

Reconstitution

Mixing freeze-dried (lyophilized) peptide powder with sterile bacteriostatic water to create injectable solution.

FISS

Feline Injection-Site Sarcoma — tumors caused by repeated injection site inflammation. Avoid interscapular injections in cats.

MDR1

Multi-Drug Resistance 1 gene — mutation in herding breeds causing inability to metabolize certain drugs, including ivermectin.
